In the summer, your hair's worst enemy is humidity. The heat and moisture in the air weights it down, leaving you struggling with an unruly, frizzy mane -- especially if you have what hair stylists call "swavy hair" like Jamie Dornan, the type that's in-between straight and curly.
Here, celebrity groomer Enrico Mariotti gives you some useful tips to channel Dornan's effortless, windswept 'do.
Mid-length hair
"After shampooing, remove excess water with a towel, and while your hair is still damp, spray some Bumble & Bumble Surf Infusion (1.5 fl. oz., $16). Let the hair dry naturally. To add a sheen finish and some movement to your hair, apply a small amount of Bumble & Bumble Brillantine (2 oz., $24) using your finger tips to define the curl."
Short crop
"If you have a shorter length, use a tiny amount of Bumble & Bumble Sumo Wax (1.5 oz., $29) on dry hair. It will give your haircut a look that's more glossy and neat."
Longer on top
"For a more formal, parted look, spray some Sachajuan Ocean Mist (5 fl. oz., $31, available at Birchbox), or some other sea salt spray (see our favorites, below) on towel-dried hair to give your hair a light texture. Let it air dry, and create some day-at-the-beach definition by adding a dab of Bumble & Bumble Semisumo (1.5 oz., $29), using your finger tips."
