GmbH, the young, Berlin-based fashion label founded by Benjamin Alexander Huseby and Serhat Isik, has released the campaign for their Spring 18 collection.

The collection, titled "Europe Endless," envisions a nation without borders, and features all models descended from immigrants--an homage to the pair's own fathers, who came to Europe from Turkey and Pakistan.

"We thought of the expression 'Gastarbeiter' commonly used in Germany, meaning guest worker," the two told Dazed. "As visitors, they were expected by their host countries to only stay temporarily, but they never left. We, the children, are at once European, but also told we do not truly belong."

The campaign references Richard Avedon's Versace fashion photography of the 90s, and features models with parents who immigrated from nations including Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan and India.

"We wanted to see brown men and women like ourselves in a campaign like this, something we never saw growing up. But we have no supermodels, or big budget - just our family," the pair continued to Dazed.

GmbH will unveil their Fall 18 collection at Paris Fashion Week on January 16.
