Has any other president in the history of the United States suffered as much scrutiny in his day to day life as Barack Obama? With the meteoric advancement in technology during his two terms, Obama has not only had to learn what a trending topic is, but frequently be one.

One of the most intriguing things people have criticized about Obama is his casualwear, namely his "mom jeans." To be fair to Obama, the presidency has never been a fashion-forward role, and no one can name a trendy 55-year-old dad off the top of their head. So when the Obamas greeted trick or treaters at this year's annual Halloween White House event, he did so in admirable dadwear - a dark sweater over a button-up and a pair of comfortable-looking slightly-baggy jeans.

Besides, how can you even try to make yourself a stylish standout when your wife revolutionized the role and look of the first lady? Someone has to wear the mom jeans in the family, and it's not going to be Michelle.
