Ellen Page and Kate Mara Parody True Detective

When HBO announced that Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn would be playing leading roles in the next season of True Detective, Twitter responded with disappointment, some pointing out lackluster entries in the duo's respective filmographies, and one user making fun of how tall both actors are.

In response to the controversy, Funny or Die recruited the 5-foot-1 Ellen Page and House of Card's 5-foot-2 Kate Mara to make fun of the outrage. In "Tiny Detectives," Ellen and Kate play a pair of vertically challenged detectives who must conquer their fear of ladders and make use of face penises to fight crime.
