On HBO's Last Week Tonight, John Oliver took on Nintendo, which became the center of controversy when it was revealed its new game doesn't allow avatars to marry other avatars of the same sex. Oliver offers up a civil union cheat code and imagines what life would be like if Nintendo's most popular characters were actually gay while fans have to wait for "virtual, eventual equality."
