For the Broadway and movie musical fiends out there, Charmers was made for you. The new musical web series by Joshua Sherman--who's worked on shows like the revival of Annie Get Your Gun and Taller Than A Dwarf (among others)--features original music, lyrics, and choreography.
Three episodes have already been released and spotlight plenty of Broadway creatives. In "Curiosity," a librarian is taught a thing or two from a student. In "A Little Imagination" a janitor shows off his moves. And in "We Talk Without Words," two wallflowers fall in love after dancing.
"I Keep Christmas in My Pocket," the last episode of the season, will premiere November 27, just in time for Thanksgiving.
Though there's no running narrative in Charmers, fans of the genre are sure to give each four-minute clip a big standing ovation.
