It began long ago, during a distant time when there was a writers strike (2008 to be exact) and people were desperate to create something. Now Joss Whedon's cult hit, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog--starring Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion, and Felicia Day--will finally make it to TV. Remember that thing where some people in the country still watch shows at a specified time? It's true!

According to EW, the 42-minute-long vid (which has already been available online and via streaming) will make its debut on The CW on Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 9 p.m.
