Dani Shay, an alum of The Glee Project alum and singer/songwriter, has written a song in response to one of the most common questions she receives on Twitter: are you a boy or a girl? Instead of being offended by people asking her about her gender, Shay hopes that this song provokes people to reexamine their stereotypes and discuss the subject further. "I want you to know that I actually welcome those questions and comments because I hope that I am causing people to question what it means to be a girl and a boy beyond the biological definitions of female and male," she says.
