Roseanne for President!

Since announcing her intentions to run for the highest office in the land back in August during an appearance on Jay Leno where she called the Democratic and Republican parties "a bunch of criminals," Roseanne Barr has chosen which ticket she'd like to run on.

It is (drum roll, please...) the Green party!

The Emmy and Golden Globe winning television trailblazer took to Twitter Thursday and announced, "I am running for Green Party nominee for POTUS. I am an official candidate. I am for the greening of America&the world. Green=peace/justice."

How serious is the seriously funny lady?

According to the L.A. Times, serious enough to file all the official paperwork, which she did last month, creating a four-way race for the ecology-minded party's presidential nomination.

Let's hope Roseanne makes it to the general election and gives us a little levity, Ross Perot-style, at the debates.
