We've been a fan of jewerly label Ruby Kobo for quite some time now thanks to designer Yuvi Alpert's eye for mixing high-end precious stones with more commonplace materials like hemp (he works with a collaborator, the lovely Danna Kobo). When brought together, their designs are both casual and luxurious, the perfect high-low mix. It sure doen't hurt that Alpert is easy on the eyes, as well. The designers have decided to display their latest collection by taking to celluloid. They've enlisted the help of filmmaker Greg Broom and stylist Micah Johnson for this clever little film. In it, they interview a small group of gorgeous, fresh-faced models who are all new residents of New York, all the while dousing them in the label's decadent designs. Shirtless models and shiny gems is the perfect equation, if you ask us.
