Scott Schumann is arguably one of the more important photographers currently working in fashion. You won't find his work in Vogue or Vanity Fair or Harper's Bazaar every month. He doesn't shoot endless campaigns season after season. He shoots you, late to work, wearing a vintage blazer and some army boots. His blog, The Sartorialist, has become one of the most influential cyber-spots to derive fashionable inspiration, and its not looking to the runway per se.
