Despite what anyone might tell you, the worst part about Project Runway's move from Bravo to Lifetime was waiting for season six to finally lumber its way into our cable boxes. Luckily, now that all that messy mudslinging/lawsuits/bad industry exec behavior is over, the premier fashion reality competition (no matter how less than stellar season six of PR was compared to seasons past, you can't tell us that you thought Bravo's The Fashion Show was better -- you just can't) is finally on a less haphazard roll out schedule. In fact, season seven is set to premiere on January 14, 2010 and (Hallelujah!) the contestants (along with Heidi, Tim, and the rest of the gang) are back in New York City (truly the only [American] city worthy of being mentioned in the same breath as "fashion" -- at least as far as splashy reality TV series go).
For all the info you'll need on the new season, head to Lifetime's Project Runway page. To follow Project Runway on Twitter, head here. And to become a fan of Project Runway on Facebook, head here.
Finally, get in the mood by checking out our Where Are They Now: Project Runway slide show featuring updates straight out of the mouths of former contestants.
