Another fashion legend passed away this morning. Liz Claiborne, fashion pioneer of her eponymous line and numerous other brands, passed away Tuesday morning at the age of 78 from stomach cancer. She battled the disease for the past 10 years. What started as an upstart women's brand 1000 years ago became a fashion behemoth, now raking in, according to WWD, $4.99 billion with a portfolio including Juicy Couture, Lucky Brand, Kate Spade and Mexx.
