Sigur Ros have released the latest installment in their "Mystery Film Experiment." The video for their track Vardeldur is, in true Icelandic fashion, utterly utterly confusing The video futures a woman moving slowly around a cell. That's it. The director, Melika Bass, says the video is "a film portrait of an unstable entity in a haunted vessel, drawn into and floating away from a siren song."
Confusion aside, the video has a haunting beauty to it, features compelling cinematography, and there's some impressive expressionist acting on the part of the "unstable entity." The track comes of their most recent album Valtari, which is out now. They've been one of our obsessions ever since Shia LaBeouf went full frontal in their Fjogur Piano video.
