Netflix's upcoming limited series Maniac stars Emma Stone and Jonah Hill as two people with lots of issues who seem to undergo a "mysterious pharmaceutical trial" that catapults into a series of increasingly bizarre settings. Are they parallel universes? Virtual realities?
