This season of VH1's Hit the Floor has been a showcase of meteoric character development for one of TV's favorite queer couples.
When we left superstar NBA player Zero and sports manager Jude last season, it was very up in the air which way their relationship would go. Jude had blatantly told Zero that he wanted to be with him, but that he couldn't keep it a secret for the then-closeted Zero.
Since then we've seen the jealous side of Zero come out when Jude started talking to Lucas (Jonathan Bennett), Jude and Zero ending up in a literal closet together (it's ok, it was just for sex), and Zero expressing his feelings for Jude in a very public way.
Now that his sexuality and relationship are out in the open, Zero is soaking up the accolades as one of the most visible LGBT athletes. But even though he's opened up to Jude but still isn't ready for the rest of the world to see his more vulnerable side.
