Amber Riley Kills Performance Of 'And I Am Telling You'

As anticipation builds for her upcoming role as Effie in West End's Dreamgirls, Amber Riley grants us a performance of one of the musical's most iconic songs, "And I Am Telling You."

Famously sung by Jennifer Holiday in 1981 and then Jennifer Hudson in 2006, "And I Am Telling You" demands killer vocals, soul, and range--and Riley did it justice. Yet again.

The performance comes courtesy of an exclusive U.K. show over the weekend. Riley tweeted shortly after getting off stage.

Directed by Casey Nicholaw, Dreamgirls opens at the Savoy Theatre next month.
