Texas Restaurant Refuses Gay Customers; Is Reviewed as Gay Bar Online
By Dennis Hinzmann
A Texas restaurant that told "fag" patrons not to come back has since been called one of the best gay hangouts in the state. After a local news station broke the story, pro-LGBT users began posting reviews on the restaurant's Yelp page. Since then, Big Earl's Bait House and Country Store has been praised for its drag show, cruising potential and karaoke night—none of which exist.
Pictures are being posted and taken down almost constantly, some featuring phallic-shaped dishes “made by Earl himself,” or vintage pornographic wallpaper that's said to cover the walls of the establishment.
The reviews are just as good – one says the “booths are perfect for giving handies,” to some lesbian users faux-complaining that it’s a primarily gay establishment with little to offer them.
