We’re big fans of Joan Didion in these parts. Like, people-have-her-photo-pinned-to-their-walls, sending-emails-about-her-around-daily, we-talk-about-making-calendars-starring-her, we-call-her-by-nicknames fans.
So, when given the opportunity to watch an hour-long conversation between Saint Joan, whose latest non-fiction work of genius, Blue Nights, is just out, and essayist Sloane Crosley that took place Monday night at the New York Public Library, we jumped. Well, we sat, because we were watching on a computer, but our hearts jumped. Take a peek (or, if you’re too busy, just listen) and enjoy a great conversation between two ladies whose work we really love.
