Rihanna to Cover American Vogue's March Issue?

When it comes to cover girls, Vogue is very selective. It's your usual mix up of more mature Hollywood royalty, included gals like Gwenyth, Angelina, Cate, and the like. Of late, though, Anna and her team at 4 Times Square has been casting an eye on the younger generation of emerging actresses. Anne Hathaway, Blake Lively and Carey Mulligan have made the cut, ushering in more ingenue-like cover girls. Well, it seems like Anna just keeps getting hipper and hipper these days, no? Next up is the rumor of Kristen Stewart covering February, Lady Gagacovering March and now, singer Rihanna accidentally opened her trap on Twitter yesterday to reveal that she had just finished shooting the cover for April with Annie Leibovitz: "Just wrapped my first American Vogue cover shoot with Annie Leibovitz...Rah! #SEXY." The tweet has since been taken down, meaning Wintour called her up and said, Oh Hell No! Or something like that. Either way, its exciting to think that 2011 may be the year that Vogue really mixes things up. Ain't nothing wrong with that.
