A member of Sigur Rós, Jonsi chooses three classic songs for the summer

Their latest, Kveikur, out now, finds Jónsi Birgisson and his group down one member, but with a doomier, more militant sound. We asked Jónsi for three tracks from his summer play list. He chose some classic songs that never go out of style.

First, here's the video for "Brennisteinn" by Sigur Rós:

Jonsi recommends The King Cole Trio, The MacGregor Anthology, because, “Nat King Cole just has an amazing voice.”

Watch the video for "Baby" below:

Billie Holiday, Love Songs. “It’s crackly and cozy and never fails.”

Watch the video for "All of Me":

Jónsi also recommends Django Reinhardt's Avec le Quintette du Hot Club de France (1934-1935) “I’ve been listening to this for years. It never gets old.”
