After receiving much acclaim at Sundance, Berlin, and countless other film festivals, Diary of a Teenage Girl is opening in theaters on August 7, and it finally has a full-length trailer.
The coming-of-age drama takes place in 1970's San Francisco and stars Kristen Wiig, Alexander Skarsgard, and Christopher Meloni. Based on Phoebe Gloeckner's autobiographical novel, the film tells the story of Minnie Goetze (rising star Bel Powley), a 15-year-old who begins to see the world through a completely different lens after she loses her virginity to her mother's boyfriend.
