Bernie Sanders: 'Cardi B is Right'

Former presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders and rap sensation Cardi B are two of our greatest political minds, so its no surprise that Sanders tweeted this week affirming Cardi B's thoughts on Social Security. Yes, this is a real thing that happened.

On Wednesday, Sanders retweeted a quote from the "Bodak Yellow" rapper in which she stated that FDR is "the real 'Make America Great Again' President because of it weren't for him, older Americans wouldn't even get Social Security." Sanders added, "Cardi B is right. If we are really going to make America great we need to strengthen Social Security so that seniors are able to retire with the dignity they deserve."

What a meeting of the minds! Can we get these two on a ticket together? A TED talk? Maybe Cardi can sample one of Sanders' speeches for a track?
