Despite the fact that you won't be able to see the film until this Christmas, the trailer for director Baz Luhrmann's highly anticipated film re-boot of the classic book The Great Gatsby just hit the Internet. The film adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel takes place in a decadent New York City during the bootlegging, gin-drinking "roaring" '20s. The story will be familiar to everyone, seeing as it was required reading in high school, but the newfangled visual spectacle seems to be the focus here. Luhrmann's very specific aesthetic fills each frame, as one would expect, filling each shot with razzle-dazzle. Art deco flourishes, vintage automobiles, sprawling estates, and frenzied party scenes fill the sneak peak. But what we're most excited about is the amazing wardrobe donned by stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire. Pastel linen suits, snazzy bow-ties, spectator shoes, double-breasted blazers and slicked, side-parted hair are abound, and we like. Check it out, below.
