Presidential Hopeful Ben Carson: Prison Makes You Gay

Dr. Ben Carson, because I guess we're just throwing around degrees nowadays, showed up on CNN this morning to spout his always-entertaning political views on his inevitable run-up/fall-down to the 2016 Republican nomination.

CNN's Chris Cuomo asked Carson if being gay was a choice, which the presidential also-ran confirmed and supported with this waterproof logic:

"Because a lot of people who go into prison go into prison straight, and when they come out, they're gay. So, did something happen while they were in there? Ask yourself that question."

Cuomo didn't need to ask himself that question, presumably because he doesn't waste time asking himself stupid questions when a perfectly good Ben Carson is sitting right in front of him. Talking about maybe running the country.

Doc Carson recently launched a presidential exploratory committee, proving that the GOP nomination causes galling idiocy. I mean, people go into it with some semblance of credibility and when they come out, they're a national punchline. So, did something happen while they were in there?
