Neil Patrick Harris is an openly gay theater, television, and film actor, and is a very vocal advocate for LGBT rights and equality. He is well known for his childhood role as Doogie Howser, M.D., as well as the CBS sitcom How I met Your Mother. Neil Patrick Harris has also starred in movies like Gone Girl, and has made appearances on popular TV shows like Glee and American Horror Story. In his personal life, Harris has two children, and is married to fellow actor David Burtka.
