Coming from a female perspective, there is something very sexy about this kind of shirt,in my opinion. Even a guy who I wouldn't consider the rugged outdoorsy type looks so much more masculine wearing one. I think it gives off a certain "vibe" to women.

I recently wrote an article about flannel shirts for men where I explain the popularity of this particular style with the type of men who are considered real "meat and potatoes" kind of guys.

I actually did a bit of research on flannel fabric history and where it came from and found it very interesting. As a woman, I love the fabric too. It becomes really soft and comfortable the longer one owns it. Take care :)
