The bond between man and beast is a recurring theme in fashion, from Valentino's coterie of pampered pugs to John Bartlett's mascot, his three-legged rescue, Tiny Tim. Fall 2011 Fashion Week saw rainbow-hued poodles at Isaac Mizrahi, hunting hounds at Moncler Gamme Bleu, and Rottweiler-printed ensembles at Givenchy. Adam Brown, founder of London-based swimwear line Orlebar Brown, features images of various breeds (above) on his latest collection of trunks -- he's the proud father of two affenpinschers. "They're scraggy, small, and have pencil-thin legs," he says. "Everyone in the office hates them, but, of course, they can do no wrong in my eyes."
