The casting news for American Horror Story: Freak Show keeps getting better and better.
Legendary singer Patti LaBelle has signed on for a guest arc on the upcoming season of the anthology horror series. According to TV Line, the entertainer will play "a local townsperson who begins to unravel the murderous secrets of Twisty the clown killer" of the course of four episodes.
In addition to taking on Twisty, played by John Carroll Lynch, LaBelle will play Gabourey Sidibe's mother. Despite the casting announcement and what we know about the show already, there's still no information about Sidibe's character and how she'll be involved with the circus of freaks.
While addition of LaBelle is great, there's still no word on Neil Patrick Harris. Oh, pipe dreams.
