Formerly one half of the duo, Bunny Rabbit and Black Cracker, Bunny went through a rebirth in order to become Bunny Michael. The telepathic rap goddess is now back with her solo EP, Rainbow Licker, and an experimental mixtape, Nature Slut, a sound zine that operates as an online audio and visual experience.

"The concept came to me about a year ago when I was writing this poem called 'Nature Slut.' It was about wanting to make love to a beautiful woman in nature and as I was thinking about it, I realized that the beautiful woman I wanted to make love to was myself," Michael explains to AfterEllen. "It was sort of the version of myself that is stripped away of all of the material possessions and toxic things that we’ve created in our humanity. So Nature Slut is being able to transcend into your natural being and that’s being free with sexual expression. I do believe that feeling free in that natural state can provide some transcendence. So yeah, it’s really just about making love with your natural being, your pure beauty."

Ultimately it's best described as a collage of music for "fornicating in flower beds." Listen to the mix, which blends together trip hop and pop as if she was the birth child of a lesbian affair between Lana Del Rey on acid and an even more-hipster Santigold.

Rainbow Licker is out now, grab it via iTunes. Fans can join Michael at EP release party on April 4 at Baby's All Right.
