Fashion To Face: Jeffrey Fashion Cares

With Barneys and Bergdorf's huddled on the Upper East Side, where are downtown dudes and doyennes to go when in need of that extra special outfit? Why Jeffreyof course. Located on 14th Street in the trendy Meatpacking District, the boutique offers everything from elegant suiting to relaxed sportswear.

But not only does the store carry the creme de la creme of fashion's finest, it's a company that has heart and gives back to the community. Since 1992 founder and owner Jeffrey Kalinsky has hosted the yearly fundraiser Jeffrey Fashion Cares, bringing together members of fashion community to help bring attention to the ongoing AIDS crisis as well as raise money for a variety of truly amazing charities. Style-mavens and tastemakers all hob-nob at the event which includes a stellar line-up of glamorous proceedings, including a runway show, silent and live auctions of designer goodies and a lovely cocktail reception.

We got a chance to stop by Mr. Kalinsky's tres chic store to chat with him and his co-chairs, Dan Rothman and Todd Sears, about the exciting evening:

Oh, and don't feel left out, Jeffrey and friends know that the old adage is true: the more, the merrier. Click here to purchase your tickets -- but don't wait! It always sells out, dahling.

Jeffrey Fashion Cares 2011 will take place on Monday, March 28th from 7:30pm-11:30pm on the Intrepid Aircraft Carrier at Pier 86.

Also, keep an eye out for another more fashion-based interview with Jeffrey Kalinsky coming soon to Truman Says.
