After 23 years at Levi’s, former global president Hanson was recruited to lead American Eagle Outfitters in 2011. This March, however, AEO posted a 41% loss in net income from the previous year. To make up for this downward trend, Hanson announced plans to overhaul the massive teen retailer, ramping up e-commerce efforts and growing their outlet-store offerings.
