With Trans Bodies, Trans Selves, Columbia University Medical Center psychiatrist Laura Erickson-Schroth (left) is seeking to do the same for the transgender community that Our Bodies, Ourselves did for a generation of women in the 1970s. "It's a comprehensive guide to everything transgender, and it's written by and for transgender people," she says of the book she edited.
