Dreams Come True: Disney Princes as Real People

Never be ashamed to tell someone Disney men are ideal.

Growing up, the best part of most Disney movies were, of course, the happy endings. After overcoming stubborn parents, wicked sorcerers, and even dragons, the princesses of the story were swept off their feet (or fins) by the men who would do anything for their one true love.

Now, with the help of Finnish artist Jirka Vaatainen, the leading men of classic Disney can be taken to the next level of swoon-worthiness, as he reimagines them as real people.

Gone are the cartoon eyes, sometimes disproportioned limbs, and, what matters most, the lack of stubble on John Smith.

Aladdin

Aladdin - the original street rat.

Hercules

Hercules - Greek god of pouted lips.

John Smith

John Smith - the aforementioned stubble.

Prince Adam

Prince Adam / The Beast (Beauty and the Beast) - can we get one of him with a man bun?

Prince Charming

Prince Charming (Cinderella) - the gold standard of princes.

Prince Eric

Prince Eric (The Little Mermaid) - 10/10 would play lifeguard with.

Prince Phillip

Prince Phillip - wakes you up with true love's so he can cuddle with you.

Tarzan

Tarzan - spend a simple life with you in the jungle? As long as you act as our personal trainer.

Vaatainen's Disney renditions have gone viral before, when he also portrayed princesses as real people, granting stunning beauty to Pocahontas, Jasmine, Cinderella, and more. His entire Disney collection can been seen on his website here. But he also shares his art, and stylish photos of himself, on his Instagram.
