Hollywood's Gay Sex Guru Gets Star-Studded Book Party

Scotty Bowers hasn't been this popular since he ran a prostitution ring out of a Los Angeles gas station!

The one-time pimp (and ho) not only received a big, wet kiss from The New York Times--no money traded hands on that one, we're sure--but was also on the receiving end of some big love from Gore Vidal, Bret Easton Ellis, Andre Balazs, and other stars.

According to the New York Post, Standard Hotel impresario Balazs and lit agent David Kuhn hosted a party to celebrate the release of Bowers' book, Full Service: My Adventures in Hollywood and the Secret Sex Lives of the Stars, which drew some impressive star power.

While Bowers claims to have set up trysts for royalty, movie stars and Hollywood power players, notably boasting to have arranged over 150 dates for Katharine Hepburn--with ladies!--this time the stars orbiting around him included Dana Delany, Chloe Sevigny, and director Doug Liman.

No word on what guests got in their goody bags.
