EXCLUSIVE: Sveta Bout Premieres Video for 'Dame'

We were lucky enough to speak with the young and talented Sveta Bout recently about her latest EP, One Big Scandal, which includes the rollicking, funky, and just plain fun "Dame."

"As much as I tried to deny my roots, my Eastern European roots are it's definitely ingrained," the Ukranian-born Bout explains. "I'm also definitely inspired by old film scores and Tom & Jerry cartoons." Even better Sveta Bout gave us the privilege of premiering the video for Dame, and it's a doozy, with flapper vibe and burlesque wink and a smile that displays her maturity and the energy she delivers in her live performances.

"I think I'm much more of a storyteller than a songwriter," Bout says. "The video was so much because of the glitz and glamour."
