Power 50: Ken Mehlman

Former Republican National Committee chairman Mehlman is leveraging relationships with prominent GOP officials and pundits to have them sign an amicus brief, urging SCOTUS to rule in favor of same-sex marriage (he did the same regarding Prop 8). At AFER, Mehlman helped win marriage equality in New York, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, and Washington state.
