Adele's album 25 sold 3.4 million in its first week, making it the most albums sold in a single week in the United States (beating NSYNC's record for No Strings Attached). And by now, you've likely seen the hauntingly beautiful video for Adele's "Hello," the first single, which was directed by Xavier Dolan. Among the numerous parodies, one fan-made edit stands out.
Set to Sal Bardo's video for Paper Ring's "Great Escape," the cover of Adele's hit tells the story of a woman who must make the decision whether or not to leave her husband and family for her first love, another woman. Using the same soft black-and-white style to portray a heartbreaking story, it's the most recent work in a series of LGBT-themed projects from Bardo.
Bardo has recently received critical acclaim for his short film, Pink Moon, about two teens who must hide an unplanned pregnancy in an alternate society where heterosexuals are discriminated against.
