Hulu has released an animated short, Rosaline, which follows a beautiful maiden on a journey to bring food to her female lover. This is director Daniel Errico's second Hulu release depicting homosexual fairytales; last year he created The Bravest Knight Who Ever Lived, which told the story of a gay pumpkin farmer with heroic ambitions.
During her trek through the forest, Rosaline encounters three people: a witch, a wolf, and a fairy godmother. Throughout each confrontation, Rosaline remains strong-willed. She wisely explains to the fairy godmother: "Every person's wish is theirs and it's not always what it seems."
