While the Dr. Marten and Raf Simon boot/sandal collaboration was questionable at best, thankfully a follow up partnership with Stüssy seems to have ended a little better. Debuting in August in Stüssy and Dr. Marten stores for just $135, the Desert Boot collection brings Dr. Marten craftsmanship with Stüssy sass. The suede finish and minimal design is all business, but the playfully colored shoe strings and sole accents are all party.

"I don’t know why people are so interested in what I wear on holiday. Last year, when I was in LA, everyone was talking about my tight trunks. Have you seen what people in LA wear? I was the most normal dressed person over there. Anyway, what’s wrong with wearing tight pants? They look good and it’s better than having tan lines down your legs. This year it was the pink hat with the flower. I don’t see what is wrong with it. I can see why, if you weren’t comfortable with your sexuality, you might not wear it.

It's nice to see a great designer show some love to all the daddies -- sugar or otherwise -- out there. Just in time for Father's Day, John Bartlett is hosting his own NYC paternal-minded pop-up store that will feature his new John Bartlett summer collection for Liz Claiborne. Remember, this is his lower priced line that still maintains a sartorial appreciation, so it's perfect for the already styled or badly-in-need-of-style daddy in your life.

While the boys look sharp as ever in Burberry's new F/W ad campaign, how could you not be entirely entranced by the radiant Emma Watson? Shot by Mario Testino, she of buttoned up, tweeny Harry Potter fame now looks chic, and, yes, mature. At the tender age of 19, Miss Watson is a chicly potent antidote to the sloppy, extended teenagehood splashed across television.

With the golden hand of Madonna, you, too, can land a Dolce & Gabbana F/W 09 ad campaign. In his first major campaign, yes, that's Mr. Jesus Luiz himself placed very prominently on the right hand side of the photo, while real top male models David Gandy, Noah Mills, Adam Senn and Julianne Quevenne linger in the background. Shot my Steven Klein, the ad is as sultry and seductive as you'd expect from D&G.

With all the fuss Liam Gallagher made about launching his own fashion line, Pretty Green, because the clothing he really wanted to wear he "can't really get," you'd have expected that what he came up with would have something to raise an eyebrow about. As it turns out, now that Pretty Green has hit an online store, it turns out it's really pretty boring.
