John Oliver Recaps Election Week, Suggests Real Ways to Help

Unless you live in a cocoon of complete ignorance, which at this point may be favorable, you know that Donald Trump became the president-elect of the United States last week. While many are still reeling over the news, and rightfully so, John Oliver used this week's episode of Last Week Tonight to give suggestions on how to make real change. Like Oliver says, it goes beyond Facebook and echoing sentiments to your like-minded social sphere. If you have the time and money, Oliver asks you to donate to organizations that will come under fire during a Trump presidency, like Planned Parenthood, the National Resources Defense Council, the International Refugee Assistance Project, and the Trevor Project.
