Ab Fab Movie on the Hunt for 100 Drag Queens

The Absolutely Fabulous movie is pulling out all the stops and apparently all the tucks. Patsy, Edina and co. have already started filming in the south of France, where Joanna Lumley was recently spotted in drag. That's not the only gender-bending going on, however, as this announcement turned up seeking to recruit nearly 100 drag queens and "fantastic looking queers":

According to the Spectator:

On top of eight drag queens to perform individually and 70 to be in an audience, they are specifically after 18 celebrity drag lookalikes. These include a Cher lookalike, a Christina Aguilera lookalike and a Tammy Wynette lookalike.

Of course, Patsy and Edina are two of the greatest drag queens in herstory, so naturally some of those 96 queens better suit up in their best Lacroix and pile their wigs into a beehive so they can fall out the back of a Beemer and pay homage.

While creator Jennifer Saunders has been tight-lipped about the cast and plot details, nearly every guest star from the past 20 years or so of Ab Fab will make an appearance in the movie, and noted One Directioner Harry Styles has even been rumored to play Patsy's love interest. I would've thought he might be a little too old for dear Pats, but even she isn't immune to the 1D.
