Shaun Ross, an albino African-American model, was the target of school bullies because of his looks, but the joke was on them when he caught the eye of the fashion industry. After making his way up the ladder, appearing in Beyonce's video for "Pretty Hurts," and landing a starring role in Lana Del Rey's clip for Tropico, the Bronx native has officially arrived. This year, he used his exposure to celebrate different types of beauty, giving a TED talk to raise awareness on diversity. He was also the subject of "Visible Man," by painter Jerome Lagarrigue, who inspires Ross as another artist has. "Keith Haring was a visionary," Ross says. "To replicate anything he's done is an honor."
