Has Sam Smith Split With Model Boyfriend?

It appears that Grammy nominated recording artist Sam Smith has broken up with his model boyfriend, Jonathan Zeizel. Smith has taken to social media to spread the word about his split from Zeizel.

Smith first let his fans know about his relationship ending during a concert on Tuesday. Before his performance of "Like I Can," Smith announced "This is about a very similar thing I had to do today with someone I've been seeing." Smith and Zeizel had met on the set of his "Like I Can" video.

Later, Smith posted a photo of himself frowning and holding a glass of wine to Instagram. The caption reads, "Sometimes you just need to lay in bed with a glass of red wine and a football T shirt and listen to Joni Mitchell. It's been a sad day. Beautiful show, but sad day x."

He followed that one up with a black-and-white photo of him performing with the caption: "I'm an old romantic, that's what they say to me."

Smith only announced that he was in a relationship with Zeizel last month and two went on vacation to Australia over the holidays.
