The queen of glitter, Ke$ha, has signed on with MTV to give fans a look inside her "fabulous, freaky — and frequently furry — world" with a brand-new documentary series, called Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life.
Set to premiere this April, see Ke$ha in a very intimate manner, and follow the "drama and madness" of her life—personal and professional—as she travels the globe and records her Warrior album.
"You might have heard my voice on the radio, seen me onstage or in a music video, but that's only a part of the story," Ke$ha told MTV News. "With this documentary series I'm revealing a more complete picture of what my life is really like. It's not all glamorous but it's all real."
Shot over the course of two years, and filmed by Ke$ha's brother and a friend, the show promises to give fans an intimate, no-limits look at her rise to fame. See a sneak peak:
Ke$ha also appeared on MTV's new talk show, Nikki & Sara LIVE, where she talks about being a Global Ambassador for the Humane Society and her month off music to travel with the organization. "Because I love animals more than people," she said as to why she joined them. Watch below as she talks more on the new show:
Having a documentary show or film seems to be a big trend that past year for our some of our favorite pop divas of today. Beyoncé's HBO special is due on Feb. 16, and of course Katy Perry: Part of Me was released summer 2012. And now Ke$ha...who is next?!
