Truman Says

Everybody, including eccentric fashion editor Anna Dello Russo, has an opinion on what to wear to the upcoming Met Ball. For those invited it's basically like high school prom, but with no ugly or poor people allowed to attend. That means that New York's finest and most fashionable shall all be in attendance (we're still waiting for our invite).

You’ve contributed to her for a while?
The first time was four years ago.....Wow, I’m old.

How did you meet Margaret?
It’s a connection through Peaches, actually. She had a road assistant who also assisted Margaret. She asked if she could show Margaret my stuff, and Margaret liked it, so she asked me to make her something for her record release party. When she was nominated for a Grammy, I sent her a congratulatory text and we immediately started talking about a dress.

We know, we know....barely a day goes by where we don't write some obsessive post about our love of all things Anna. But this is a particularly shocking moment. La Wintour, who is known for her icy demeanor, is known for one other very important thing: her style. While she's no chameleon like Daphne Guinness or Alexa Chung, she has most definitely created a signature "lewk" (to quote Brad Goreski) for herself. Raine or shine it's: skirt, top, jacket/cardigan, bob and sunglasses.

In addition to our regular roster of fashion websites that we adore, the home decorating blog Apartment Therapy has a very special place in our hearts. Everything from their home tours to renovation 'before and afters' are fabulous, and oftentimes informative. But rarely do they touch upon the world of style and clothing.
