Gay Fashion Blog - What Truman Says Goes | Out Magazine
Truman Says

Seriously, it feels like every day there is at least one new fashion collaboration announced. What started as a novel idea a few years back has now spread and become quotidian news that's rarely newsworthy. Not that it's always bad -- sometimes when two things come together, it just makes sense.

So, as many of you know, Michelle Obama has been a delightful, and fashionable, presence in the White House since her hubby was inaugurated as Prez. There are websites and blogs dedicated to her every sartorial whim and whether she be wearing an Alaïa skirt, a J. Crew cardigan or a thrifted gown you can bet that someone is chatting about it. And we love her for it, even if it does come across as slightly sexist.

Joe Zee's new reality show seemed to have been accidentally leaked online today.

Is Urban Outfitters looking to buy J. Crew?

We understand, like everyone else in the magazine industry, you want to fit as much information on a page to get your point across. You want to have brilliant text balanced with terrific pictures in a great layout. But really, In Touch? Seems like you disabled poor Heidi Klum's daughter, Leni, with this photoshop blunder from hell. Way to give that little gal a stigma. She may be wearing cute boots, but she's got an arm malfunction that needs to be addressed -- pronto!

That title sounds deep, doesn't it? Well, don't worry, because it's not. Basically, it means that everyone is now blabbering about how French Vogue's will fill its soon-to-be empty editor in chief position with their current fashion director Emmanuelle Alt. Alt has been Carine Roitfeld's right-hand gal for some time now, and would likely be a worthy successor of the position as she intimately knows the day to day of how the magazine is run. She's also a street style super star and basically looks like a living fashion editorial.

This is what happens when Stevie Nicks does some childhood regression therapy after a cocaine-fueled shopping trip to a vintage store. In other words, Courtney Love is still nutso, just the way we like her. We mean, seriously, what is going on with that outfit? And if you're not following her on Twitter, then you don't know what you're missing, 'cause this is just a small taste of the crazy that is going on over there.

We get it. Blake Lively is basically perfect. She's gorgeous, but not in an intimidating Angelina Jolie sort of way. She has beautiful blonde hair that looks like she just has to wake up, comb it twice and it looks like she got a blow out at Fredric Fekkai, she legs for days and, worst of all, she seems genial, kind and like a fun person to hang out with. Kind of like the girl you wished lived next door to you. And don't think that Anna Wintour hasn't noticed.
