Our Lady J Plays Santos Party House
Saturday, October 17: We realize that worship is usually reserved for Sundays, but we highly recommend a little reshuffling of your schedule this week so that you can enjoy some of the delicious gospel of Our Lady J this evening at Santos Party House in New York City. Our Lady J has been blessing the underground music scene with melodic and lushly arranged covers of Dolly Parton, Nine Inch Nails, and Alanis Morissette, and, of course, her own fare, for years. And it would be a sin to miss her performance this evening as a central part of the line-up for the “Click and Drag” event with other gender-bending acts at Santos. So go ahead and save a couple of prayers for tomorrow, but come out tonight to catch your official gospel groove.
