GRAHAM PHILLIPS http://www.out.com/sites/out.com/files/imagecache/slide-image/youngHollywoodSSPhillips_3.jpg 16323

Photographed by Randall Slavin in Los Angeles

Last seen in: His recurring role as Julianna Margulies’s son, Zach, on The Good Wife

What’s next: Goats, a comedy starring Vera Farmiga and David Duchovny

“I was working seven days a week, absurd hours, flying back and forth from Albuquerque to New York for The Good Wife and filming Goats, so I was extremely busy and it was exhausting and stressful, but I still loved it,” Phillips, 18, says. “That’s really the point I realized I could work at this for a living, for the rest of my life -- because I’d gotten a taste of how difficult it would be.”
MICHAEL B. JORDAN http://www.out.com/sites/out.com/files/imagecache/slide-image/youngHollywoodSSJordan_4.jpg 16322

Photographed by Randall Slavin in Los Angeles

Last seen in: Red Tails, Friday Night Lights

What’s next: Chronicle, in which a group of high school friends gain superpowers

“I want to take over the world one day at a time,” says Jordan, 25. “I like to create, I like to write. I treat each project as my dream project. I give 110% to everything I do. I have always wanted to play a villain. I always have this nice guy persona, but it would be kind of cool to play a menacing character.”

SARAH STEELE & GIDEON GLICK http://www.out.com/sites/out.com/files/imagecache/slide-image/youngHollywoodSSSarahGideon_6.jpg 16320

Photographed by Peter Ash Lee in New York City

Sarah:
Last seen in: Her recurring role as Alan Cumming’s precocious daughter, Marissa, on The Good Wife; as Catherine Keener’s daughter in Please Give

What’s next: The To Do List, in which she stars opposite Aubrey Plaza and Bill Hader

“Family dramas are really, in some ways, the most exciting for me -- whether on stage or screen -- because, in your family, you can’t hide,” Steele, 23, says. “I had just graduated from Columbia when I got The To Do List. I’m working with all these great comic actors, so it’s been great.”

Gideon:
Last seen in: The Off-Broadway production of Wild Animals You Should Know

What’s next: Playing Eros in Gods Behaving Badly, opposite Sharon Stone

“The film’s about Greek gods living in New York, and I play Cupid, or Eros, rather. Sharon Stone is my mom, Aphrodite,” Glick, 23, says. “Film is a very different muscle from theater, and I’m much more accustomed to theater. The cast was pretty nutty, so it was wild to be with them -- so many of them are veterans, and I’m not.”
WILL POULTER http://www.out.com/sites/out.com/files/imagecache/slide-image/youngHollywoodSSPoulter_7.jpg 16318

Photographed by Sven Jacobsen in London

Last seen in: Son of Rambow, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader

What’s next: Wild Bill, a British crime drama-comedy in which an ex-con returns home to reconnect with his sons, 11-year-old Jimmy and 15-year-old Dean (Poulter), who has learned to support his younger brother

"As a kid I struggled at school -- I was dyslexic and basically lived for my Friday morning drama lesson," Poulter, 19, explains. "It was the reason I got out of bed. My drama teacher gave me a license to make a fool of myself in front of the school at every opportunity. My first performance was when I was eight, dressed as [’60s pop singer] Cilla Black. I remember trying to open the curtains and they wouldn’t open, so I crawled underneath them instead. Everyone laughed. I thought, I’ll take it. With Wild Bill, it was really nice for someone as immature as me to play someone as mature as that. It’s a low-budget British independent and it’s gritty, but it’s also a feel-good movie in spite of the bleakness.”
