The endearing Ben Baur is an unlikely candidate to play Alex, the shifty, philandering lead in the cult-favorite Web series Hunting Season. That Baur makes the character flawed, yet likable, speaks to his charms and versatility, which also won him roles in TV shows like this year's Difficult People and films like the upcoming Something Like Summer. Hunting Season's second season premiered in May, but what truly rocked Baur's year was a move from East Coast to West, which freed him professionally. "New York is a city that beats the lazy out of you," Baur says, "and in L.A. you learn a lot about how to make something of yourself. I'm really enjoying being unmoored."
